Welcome to the very first edition of my newsletter, and the launch of my brand new website! 

Each month, I’ll be sharing reflections, free resources, and practical ideas to reconnect us, celebrate inclusive practice, and support every learner. 

Expect exciting podcast news, new recorded short CPD to up-skill all, updates on the development of our inclusive literacy frameworks in conjunction with Teach us Too and Nexus, to support every learner, and real ways we can work together to make learning accessible, meaningful, and joyful for all. 

I aim to provide a regular spotlight focus on my favourite books, tools, products, and strategies that reduce barriers and promote progress for all, because inclusion isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Reflections from this term 

There’s something powerful about pressing pause and asking, “What’s actually making a difference?” 

This month, I’ve been reminded that it’s rarely the big interventions alone that make the difference, it’s the small, purposeful decisions we make each day. A chance to share a daily reading experience with all, an adapted writing prompt, a co-constructed sentence, a pause to really listen to how a child wants to express themselves or learns best.  

Inclusive practice isn’t a bolt-on. It’s a mindset!

Revamped Courses: Reading, Writing & Oracy for All 

I’ve updated and expanded my core CPD offer to reflect the latest national guidance and the increasing complexity of need in schools. Each session is designed to support both mainstream and specialist settings, with a strong focus on making literacy and communication accessible, practical, and inclusive.

Switch it up: Let the learner choose how to show what they know. 

Instead of defaulting to writing, try voice notes, drawing, building, or typing. 
A little flexibility can reveal a lot of understanding, enable choice to be built in and create joyful learning for all.
