This four-part recorded CPD series supports educators to move from inclusive intent to inclusive action.

Each session combines clear theory, practical classroom strategies, and structured reflection time.

Sessions are suitable for mainstream, special, and alternative provision and are designed to be watched individually or as a complete professional learning pathway.

  • A recorded session (approx. 60 minutes, often longer with reflection prompts)

Session 1: Inclusive Literacy – Values, Vision and Foundations

This session establishes a shared understanding of what inclusive literacy really means in practice. It explores literacy as a right, not a reward, and examines how values, beliefs, and expectations shape daily provision.

This session focuses on identifying and removing common barriers that prevent learners from accessing literacy. It supports educators to think proactively rather than reactively when planning learning.
